Providing education and care to children in need since 2011
In Ghana, child poverty limits access to basic needs, education, and healthcare. Many children must work instead of attending school, and malnutrition affects their health and development.
When Ghanaian children lose their parents, they often live with extended family or have to take care of themselves. This frequently leads to school dropouts and emotional trauma, with limited access to support services.
Abandoned children in Ghana face risks of exploitation and trafficking, particularly in urban areas. Many end up in under-resourced institutions or on the streets, struggling with both physical survival and emotional challenges.
At Savior Children Foundation, these challenges shape the lives of every child who comes through our doors. We understand deeply how poverty forces families into impossible choices, how the loss of parents leaves children vulnerable, and how abandonment creates lasting emotional wounds. Each child's story matters to us because we're not just providing shelter – we're working to heal trauma, rebuild trust, and create pathways to a brighter future.
