Savior Children Foundation was established on 6TH JUNE, 2011 and registered by the Rev. Patrick Nwodobeh.
It all began one morning when the founder, Ps. Patrick was praying together with his family. He had a
revelation directing him to start an
orphanage to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. As difficult as the task may be, he accepted the
challenge to do so, and there he began the processes which eventually became the now famous happy home called
Savior Children Foundation
The orphanage began operating on 6th June, 2011 with nine children, four males and five females. Within six months, the number of children had increased by seventeen. As the years went by, more children were brought by the Department of Social Welfare and the Ghana Police Service. Currently, there are ninety-five children in the orphanage, thirteen of them in university, ten in high school and five learning trade. The rest are at various levels of basic education.
The orphanage also has a school that provides free tuition from the pre-school level to the junior high school within and beyond our area of operation. The school currently has six hundred and fifty-two students and twenty-eight teaching and non-teaching staff.
